Toddlers & Two’s

When your child is 12 months old, walking and on solid food, they will transition to our toddler room. In this room, they will develop rapidly in language skills, socialization, gross motor and fine motor skills. This is an exciting time in your child’s life. We play outside daily to develop our movement skills and social interaction skills. We finger paint and play with shaving cream because it feels good. We explore our senses.

In the toddler room, we start washing our own hands and brushing our teeth. When you and your child are ready, we will work with you on potty training. By age two, your child will be trying to establish their own independence and will be filled with energy and curiosity. As they grow, we continue to focus on their physical, social, emotional and cognitive development in a fun, safe and loving environment.
